Welcome to AR4. This is Eugenio Solis de Ovando, nice to e-meet you.

This is Eugenio, I am a student of the MALET program at SUNY Empire State College and I created this blog for my final project in Augmented Reality for Educators. In this blog, I am going to focus on my class project and provide information about AR.

I am a web and digital graphic designer, photographer and software trainer based in the Metropolitan New York area.
I was born in Chile and worked there for many years in a wide variety of print and digital graphic design positions. My next opportunities brought me to Peru and then on to New York where I have been working since 2011.

I do all sorts of digital art projects.  I create, design and develop websites for different clients. I do photo retouching for friends and clients. I create material for graphic design courses and clients; this would normally include photomontages, special effects, infographics, magazine/newspaper layout, logo creation, newsletters, etc.
I work with new creative technologies all the time, like software and cameras. I have a good knowledge on how to use these tools, so it allows me to spend more time in the inspiration process than trying to figure out how to use the technology.
My work is an expression of what my clients want and the combination of my vision and style as an artist.
I like the details and the emphasis of hyperreal images that I create by combining different techniques, styles and exploring new ones to get amazing results.
I love photography, video, graphic design, web design, 3D, augmented reality, VR and all the digital design options that I can work with.
